Malabar Carbons Private Limited (MCPL) was founded in 1986 in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India by Mr. T. Joseph, a visionary entrepreneur. Using latest technologies & machinery imported from Germany & United Kingdom, Malabar Carbons began manufacturing & supplying high quality carbon brushes and carbon bushes for various applications to Tata Steel. Owing to the superior quality and performance of the brushes, MCPL was invited to Tata Tinplate, ISWP and by the year 2000 we were the main supplier of carbon brushes & carbon bearings to all Tata units in East India including the iron ore mines. In the year 2001 we started supplying to ACC cement plants across the country and today we have an Annual Rate Contract (ARC), meeting the carbon brush requirements of all ACC-ACL plants across the country. Our products are also used in aluminium plants, power plants, water treatment plants, sponge iron plants, paper mills, sugar mills, shipping industry and distilleries across India and the world.
